After all these years working on it.:(
With games like WOW (even a team of 30 persons cannot do this in 100 years) that begins to be very complicated just to be in the competition with a small team like that.

The publisher Take Two has now sued 3DR for not honoring their end of the agreement. Simply to release a finished product. There is still an outside chance we may see it, in what state I would cringe to guess at. That would be the best case scenario if they somehow win the rights to DNF, put a team together and release the stinkin game once and for all. A lot of screenshots and gameplay footage are filtering out as part of the ex-employees resumes for new jobs. Looks like the game was going to be a lot of fun.

Simply put, they do not need to make all the maps. Make it small and complets and release it at a discount and let others do the mapping....

3DR has now responded. And so begins the classic battle of we said, they said.

I lost any faith in this game being released 10 years ago, just let the poor bugger die :)
