I like the RPG/shooter mix, but I watched the hi def vid on Steam yesterday and the graphcs didn't strike me as good. I'll still play if the graphics aren't great if the content is fun, just a little suprised that a AAA title had graphics like that.
By the way, Welcome back!!

I bought this for 360 a couple of days ago (no desktop until I build a new one at Christmas). It's okay, not the best RPG FPS out there, but it's good enough to entertain me. Solo play is pretty boring. It's pretty apparent this was made with co-op in mind. With a few friends it's a blast, though.

They say that Gamespy may have problems with blocked ports.
Sorry we could not team up the other day Prof. Currently level 13 siren and level 17 soldier. Lots of viceral fun, and the baddies keep getting BADDER! ;)

Me and 3 of my friends went in on the steam 4 pack buy! Brings the cost to a little under $38 a game! :p
Gamespy ID: croaker87 :)
As to hosting a coop game, here is the port forwarding you have to do:
http://gbxforums.gearboxsoftware.com/showthread.php?t=77748
Issue: PC players experiencing difficulty connecting to multiplayer games
Solution: You need to do a few things if you are experiencing this problem:
The host must have these four ports forwarded:
7777 (TCP/UDP)
28900 (TCP)
27900 (UDP)
28910 (TCP).
You can find out how to do this at http://www.portforward.com/.
All players need to allow the game in the Windows Firewall, whether you have forwarded ports or not. You can learn more about how to do this here: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/u...nfirewall.mspx.

Level 22 hunter and 14 soldier.
Sorry I couldn't play with you guys last night Ninja, my niece decided to smoke my washer machine, so I have to take a half-day today and hopefully I can get it fixed. I hate the smell of burnning rubber at night. :(

Got it Thursday I think. Like I noted earlier, not a fan of the graphics style, but the gameplay is fun. The voice acting is good and I was suprised to hear some Mongolian throat singing in some of the battle music - it fit the setting perfectly.
Only played SP so far since I tend to play during the day and most of my friends at night. Still, while the SP isn't 'blow me away' awesome like Fallout3, it is fun. Unless it dulls super fast I think it is worth the $49.99.
Got soldier up to level 19 or so. Played a siren to level 4 and it may just be me, but she was a lot easier level 1 to 4 than soldier.

She is pretty cool.
Slay, I guess the PF is the reason you could not join us the other day? Good to know you are teaming it now! I will add you to my list on GS.
