Playing it last night. VERY fluid kinematics, NICE artwork, EXCELLENT voice acting, very good player model motion.

Only downside? rather button-mashy/console oriented. It is easily played with a KB/mouse, but some things just seem to be geared to be more of a simplistic "Hit him-point here-hit him" style of play.

Very nice storyline, but if you are a cynic, you will see MANY things that are a bit off.

1, not all ledges are grapple-able, even though their lowed "siblings" are (exactly the same edge, just outside of their player area).

2. One level, where you have to start 3 fans going has a couple of people (a doctor and guard) in a sealed office. Only after rescuing them did I notice THERE WERE NO DOORS OUT OF THE PLACE. They built a room with no way out?

3. Unlimited Batarangs. I don't mind, but Bat's belt ain't THAT big!

4. Upgrades make no sense. I know people LIKE gaining experience, but tell me, if I am on Arkham all by myself (so to speak), how do I upgrade the armor in my suit when it is both damaged (not repaired from previous battle) and I have no place to DO it? Also, why do I need to LEARN how to throw 2 batarangs? Maybe these things should have been pick-up items (like the claw, explosive foam and the like), not "experience upgrades".

5. Options. Since this is pretty much a console port, you do not get to choose what sound you are using (I looked to set up 5.1, no dice). You also cannot save where you want to (REALLY annoying, especially when you do not really know when it was last saved and you have to get up to do something).

Aside from that, I like it a lot. YMMV.

Great game. A lot of new stuff in there. Graphics and animations are perfect. Nice characters. Only thing that bugged me is the control made for Xbox controller when Batman has vision. Other than that it is a masterpiece.

You can hit the head of the enemy to the ramp. (very realistic new stuff) :D

Shoot, this IE is frigging things up.

Bottom line, if you like adventure First Person games, get it.

If you like Batman, what the hell are you waiting for?
