Just a question. We are looking for a way to get the AV cables all bundled up and hidden. Most of the cable wraps that I am looking at are not well suited to our particular arrangement and I was wondering what you guys might suggest.
I will see if I can get a good snapshot or something.
One product I saw was this:

Any other suggestions?

Most TVs have rudimentary cable management built into the back of the TV and the stand.
You could hide most of that by simply putting hooks in the wall behind the cabinets, or on the backs of the cabinets themselves, and hanging the wires just up above the open areas at the bottom.
The rest can be improved immensely with ordinary twist ties. Something that can be opened up easily is best. I save the nice black plastic ones that come on new electronic equipment.
Real cable wraps and ties are a pita when it comes to rewiring or moving stuff.

The main problem with this is, these wires would probably need mounting on the underside DD. There is no real "back" to them. Also, that plasma is a professional series, I do not remember any wire hooks/supports on the back.
The wires run down the left side between the hearth and the cabinets (about 3/8" gap) and through a hole I drilled in the cabinet endpieces (and then stained dark to not be easily seen).
Thr RHS goes through a small hole in the plaster at the top of the hearth (there is no gap) and does the same through the endpiece.
The third problem is the crossover, as it looks rather unsightly, and the fourth is the powerbar at the base (The outlet is on the far LHS of the wall unit).
The cable sleeves I am looking for are like the type you get for wraparounds on the ends of tent supports. Basically they would be strips of nylon with velcro at the ends that would allow you to wrap up already installed cable simply by, well, wrappingthe cables up and securing the edge.
I have not been able to find them though.....
Any suggestions?

(I googled "velcro cable ties")
Are these cabinets free standing?

No, these puppies are attached to the wall permanent-like.
Also, the ties you showed were, well, ties. I was looking more for a sleeve..... Like they have around tent poles on some tents....

damn, you are in a tough spot. The only thing I can think of is snaking everything into the wall, but with the cabinets connected to it, it will be troublesome.

Very close DD.
I saw that one too. But I remember someone telling me about one that was kind of like the padding wraps that you put on lifting equipment, but smaller.
DA, snaking through a wall that was made in 1908? No. :D (plaster walls are NOT your friend!!!!!)

oh god tell me about it.
my apartment is the same way. Drilling a hole in the wall makes it like the wall disintegrates. Hell... I have what seems like some sort of weak concrete behind the plaster on my walls lol
Anchors barely stay in place too! God bless sheet rock!
