Slow transfer rate?

Guys,

I am already hooked up with the new drives (I took my Shuttle case, disconnected its drives and hooked up the power to the new ones...)

I am coying over a LOT of files, but it seems to be going MUCH slower than even transferring across the net! I don't know if the TaskManager goes by Bits or Bytes, but ir seems to be transferring at about 4M a second.

I have not done the math, but over 10 hours it has only transferred 150GB.

Any reason for this? Any way to speed this up?

When it comes to lots of files, I use SyncToy. Windows hangs up when it comes to transferring large quantities of files.

I want with Fastcopy. Worked with 1.6TB in about 10 hours (I think). Anyway, it was less than a day...
