I've finally found some more spare time and am now starting back working on the TF2 map remake of CTF-Coret. I hope to have a Beta up soon for play testing. I'll keep you guys informed. :)
Good seeing Ninja out there in TF2 land.

Harm - keep in mind that the original map is very bad for spies.
Also, can you make a CP version? I sooooo hate ctf for TF2. (stupid how you cant return your flag)

I'm actually making both a CP and a CTF version. I've also made three paths in/out of each base which aids in spy related functions. (the bases are of course mirrors of each other).
I also made the middle area of the map open to give snipers something to do but cut straight lines of sight up so that they can't dominate. (You'll see when I post some screenies).
As a note, when I originally started putting this map together there were already talks on how to make a flag returnable. I'll check the forums to see if someone has found a way to do that. It can already be done, however they found that the only way to do it is to make the intelligence pick-upable by the both teams, this then makes it easy for one team to hide their intel so that it isn't in the set location.

What I've always wanted to do is make it so the more of your teammates that stand guard over the stolen but dropped intel the quicker it would return, but that you could, with enough offense still progress the intel forward after it was dropped. So you get a little of both worlds.

I try!
If I see a few ]lol[, MyU or [s] people playing, I will try to join.
The only problem is that L4D seems to eitehr be the 4-somes (no joinability) or an entire slew of [s] and company, so it is hard to get into the game.
That Killing Floor game is kind of fun, but if noone I know is playing.... Also, for some reason my mic does not work...
Fallout 3 is kind of dragging on now (I have investigated almost everything, but still not finished the game) and I never finished Zeno Clash (Thanks Ash!).
TF2 is just plain fun sometimes! If you can get past the absolute n00bs and get a game where you have people who listen to each other and play as a team, albeit maybe not a GOOD team, it is one of the most fun MP games out there.
And it is always nice to know people like seeing you out there! ;)
GL with the mapping Harm!

Not sure what you mean by the second part, but teh first sounds reasonable.
The only other thing that may be do-able is requiring the team to bring the flag back, but how to make it so that someone does not deliberately hide in a corner or a more defensable blind alley is difficult.
Maybe a timer AND the ability to bring it back? You can move it back faster with a scout, but the timer would help prevent nomading the flag?
